Rachel Woolf
Founder and Director
After a few years working in The City and over ten years working directly with people experiencing homelessness, Rachel founded Street Storage in November 2018 after seeing a visible need for the service. The charity now supports over 500 people a year in London and has additional services in Cheltenham and Cambridge. Rachel manages Street Storage’s strategic vision and growth as well as the overall operational side of the charity. She speaks regularly at events, conferences and panels across the country on behalf of Street Storage and can often be found protesting against (and outside) empty property in the city.
She survives mainly on black coffee and hot cross buns.

Caroline Allouf
Storage & Outreach Manager
As our Storage & Outreach Manager, Caroline manages the day to day running of Street Storage London. Caroline takes a lead on all referrals that come into the service and ensures that as far as possible everyone has a positive experience of storing with us. As Street Storage is so much more than just the safe storing of bags, much of Caroline's time is spent providing a whole host of support, advice and advocacy for people who use the service. Alongside this Caroline has been working closely with Rachel in developing and training up staff for new storage facilities across the country.
Outside of work Caroline voluntarily co-leads the Central London ShowerBox project, a service providing showers for people experiencing homelessness. She is also a Trustee of the ShowerBox charity. In her spare time she can be found doing amateur dramatics as part of a local community drama group and can never resist a good old sing song!

Tamara Chelsom
Storage Support Worker
Tamara joined Street Storage in January 2025 as our first full time Storage Support Worker. As part of Street Storage's frontline team she is key in providing a smooth and sensitive service to anyone who needs to store with us. You will often find Tamara on the end of the phone when people first contact Street Storage and there too for individuals when they first bring their belongings to store with us. With the support of other team members, including our volunteers, Tamara ensures the smooth running of our daily storage drop in sessions.
Tamara previously worked in property. Outside of work Tamara works on her photography and wanders around art galleries

Lilian Longhurst
Frontline Administrator
Lilian joined the Street Storage team in February 2024 as our Frontline Administrator. Her primary focus is providing essential support to the growing charity: serving as the friendly face and voice for those utilising the organisation's services. Lilian consistently strives to establish a warm and inviting atmosphere. She actively works to streamline tasks and assist colleagues with their work. Whether it's supporting the management of referrals or ensuring a stock of much-needed biscuits, Lilian's dedication allows the team to concentrate on their core responsibilities.
Outside of Street Storage Lilian is a trustee for Redbridge Rainbow and dedicates a significant amount of time to personal growth, acquiring new skills and engaging in activities that promote her mental well-being, such as spending time in nature, practicing yoga, and exploring watercolour painting.

Simon Webb
Fundraising Manager
Simon joined Street Storage in April 2022 as our Fundraising Manager. His previous jobs have been in Fundraising and Communications for disability and arts charities and he is an experienced challenge event fundraiser, having completed a number of walks, bike rides and a skydive.
Simon has come on board to raise funds for our next stage of growth and development - through Grant and Trust fundraising, corporate partnerships and Individual Giving as well as to improve our existing donor engagement and lead on creative campaigns and events.
Outside work he is a regular runner, gig-goer and season ticket holder at Brentford FC.

Amanda Weiss
UK Replication Manager
Amanda Weiss joined the Street Storage team in August 2023 as our Replication Manager. She is tasked with facilitating the expansion of the charity to additional locations across the country.
Amanda worked as the Operations Manager for the Together in Barnet Night Shelter prior to Street Storage, having been involved with the charity since 2015. She also has experience working in a direct role supporting people access services to improve their mental health and general wellbeing.
Outside of work she enjoys watching stand up comedy, exploring new green spaces in London and lap cuddles with her two cats.

Lisa Mulholland
Bookkeeper
Lisa joined Street Storage as a volunteer in September 2021 to support the charity with their Bookkeeping. It soon became clear Street Storage needed a paid Bookkeeper (!) and she now works weekly providing financial support to the senior staff team, our Independent Examiner and Board of Trustees. Lisa's advice and guidance gives Street Storage the clarity and peace of mind needed to make important decisions for its growth and sustainability.
Lisa runs her own Bookkeeping practice in North Scotland - LMBA Bookkeeping - and has recently qualified as a Level 4 - the highest-level qualification awarded by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
Outside of work, Lisa spends a fair bit of her time travelling, whether it's locally with her dog Rocco or a bit further out to meet family spread across the UK.
